Granny Takes a Trip

Granny Takes a Trip is a boutique in Kings Road, London founded by Nigel Waymouth in February 1966. It is called the "first psychedelic boutique in the 'Swinging London' in the 1960s." It also opened in New York in 1970. The shop closed 1974 because of the acquisition.
Through 60s to 70s, many fashionable young people visited there including many major rock musicians. Currently we can rarely see their vintage garments as auction items mainly in New York. The style normally features with bright colour and bold patterns. Hippie must come and buy their clothes here.
